A group of over 20 family and friends gathered at Balinakill in early May 2019 - and it was the most wonderful place to celebrate! We drove over from Edinburgh and the journey alone was stunning to this tranquil spot on Kintyre. The gardens are lush and peaceful; the house itself warm, welcoming and spacious. The surrounding area is simply beautiful; we went on a day trip to the lovely island of Gigha and enjoyed pectacular views over to Islay and Jura. All in all, a fantastic weekend!

This house is perfect for a large family reunion in an area of intoxicating beauty. It is such a spacious home with plenty of beautifully furnished bedrooms and a dining room table that fits 25, which we used several time. Everyone loved the bar and we spent hours in their drinking, playing music and singing. There is a great sitting area outside the house for BBQs and for dining. We loved the mini Highland Games and hired a Ceilidh both of which were fab. Ann and Uta were wonderful hosts. We are already thinking of reasons to return.
